Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Catchment & Water Production Strategy Manager to join the Water Asset Planning team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

New environmental legislation, unprecedented levels of investment and changing expectations from customers means that this is an exciting time to discover opportunities within the water industry. Water Asset Planning team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
The Water Asset Planning Team plays a critical role in managing risks and shaping capital investments across the entire water supply chain-from raw water collection and storage to transmission, treatment, and disinfection. Central to this function is ensuring that investments are directed toward the right assets to deliver the required quantity and quality of water. This involves close collaboration with both internal departments and external stakeholders to guide funding decisions, align with strategic and regulatory frameworks, and monitor progress toward clearly defined program goals.
This role is forward-looking, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning for AMP 8 and preparation for AMP 9. It includes tracking and reporting scheme progress to regulators, setting clear objectives for future investment cycles, and fostering cross-sector collaboration to develop a unified vision for water resilience. A key focus will be on integrating water quality initiatives, Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC), and Strategic Resource Options (SRO) into the existing asset base. This ensures that future water production remains resilient, meets customer expectations, and aligns with long-term business strategies.
