Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

  • Maintain relationships with underwriters to integrate underwriting and exposure management frameworks; deliver analytics confidently and explain their impact on risk selection.
  • Utilize Moody’s RMS and other tools to provide market-leading analysis on individual accounts and portfolios.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to make decisions on complex risks outside the scope of vendor models, including non-modeled risks.

Experience required:

  • Preferred: Catastrophe Modelling experience; Reinsurance experience is highly desirable; RMS experience advantageous.
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS SQL skills; ability to build, design, and manipulate queries to enhance processes.
  • Strong skills in manipulating large datasets with Excel and SQL.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI is desirable.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as VBA, .NET, R, or Python is an advantage.
