Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a skilled professional for Exposure Analytics and Catastrophe Modelling to support energy, power and industrial risk. The role involves handling exposure data, modelling losses, and presenting insights to clients and brokers in real time.

You will work with RMS/AIR models, data warehouses and BI tools, contributing to data enrichment and quality across multiple business units. A passion for natural catastrophes and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in exposure management or catastrophe modelling within an insurer or broking house.
• Experience with Natural Resources data capture (Onshore Energy, Power and Utilities, Renewables, Offshore Marine & Energy).
• Knowledge of Lloyd's and London Insurance Market.
• Experience using catastrophe models, in particular RMS Risklink / Risk Modeler.
• Experience using RMS and/or AIR Industrial Facilities Models.
• Technical understanding of data enrichment, manipulation and data cleansing best practices.
• Ability to work quickly and precisely with large data sets.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in growing the Exposure Analytics and Cat modelling function within Gallagher Specialty with a focus on Energy, Power and Industrial risk.
• Help create new opportunities for the business through the expansion of client and carrier analytics.
• Maintain data warehouses and other systems that hold exposure, premium & claims information enabling real-time visibility of exposure and modeled losses.
• Perform quality control checks on all policies entered into the Exposure Management systems across multiple lines of business to ensure data accuracy.
• Rectify errors and provide remedial training as required.
• Ensure standard operating procedures and minimum data quality standards are adhered to.
• Ensure internal and external KPI’s and SLA’s are met.
• Help shape and actively contribute to the exposure management strategy of Gallagher Specialty.
• Develop new initiatives in this exciting and fast growing area of the business.
