The Catalyst program fosters rapid innovation through short-term, collaborative projects that generate proof-of-concept ideas addressing industry challenges. Projects are validated by service providers and stakeholders, leveraging TM Forum standards to ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness. Outputs include white papers, case studies, API specifications, and more, showcased at live events and promoted online.

Summary Description:

The TM Forum Catalyst Operations Coordinator supports Catalyst Operations managers and the broader program. Responsibilities include administrative support, communication facilitation, and ensuring smooth program execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supporting innovation.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to Catalyst project teams (70+ submissions, 50+ final projects, 200+ companies, 1000+ members annually).
  • Manage and delegate tasks from the shared team mailbox.
  • Handle CRM processes and data entry throughout the Catalyst cycle (experience with JIRA and Salesforce preferred).
  • Communicate timelines and deadlines to keep teams on schedule.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment.
  • Support catalyst activities at live events, including overseeing stage presentations.
  • Manage operational communications, including weekly check-ins, reminders, and timeline updates.
  • Address administrative needs and provide solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, ensuring professional communication.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Catalyst program.

Desirable Qualifications and Characteristics

  • Bachelor's degree in business, events, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in event planning, project management, or operations.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills.
  • Energetic, proactive, and willing to 'roll up sleeves.'
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and build effective relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for a career in operations.
  • Ability to work independently remotely and within a team.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically (~15%), including weekends.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Salesforce and Jira are a plus.
