Job summary

Cats Protection in Central Scotland is seeking a Cat Welfare Engagement Officer to drive animal welfare initiatives across devolved nations, traveling frequently and engaging with partners to improve outcomes for cats. You will operate 35 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends, and act as an ambassador at events to advance our mission.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of leading operational community projects within a charity setting.
• Significant experience applying human behaviour change to drive improvements in communities.
• Experience working with volunteers and in the charity sector.

Responsibilities

• Improve cats' welfare by partnering with people and organisations.
• Lead a plan to influence behaviours aligned with the All for Cats strategy.
• Build relationships with vets, welfare officers, community leaders, and volunteers.
• Act as a visible ambassador at events to raise awareness and support.
