Job summary

Driver Hire Stevenage & Hatfield in Colney Street is seeking a newly qualified Class 2 Driver to join our team. You will deliver goods safely, professionally, and on time while providing excellent service to customers.

The role involves up to 8 deliveries per day, around London, with a 45-hour week and overtime paid at £24.75 per hour. Competitive annual pay and a supportive working environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Proven experience in Class 2 driving (6 months preferred).
• Good understanding of road safety and regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a maximum of 8 deliveries and collections a day using a Class 2 vehicle.
• Deliveries will be in and around London so good knowledge is preferred.
• Complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.

About the Role

We are looking for an NEWLY QUALIFIED and reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our Colney Street based customers team. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely, professionally, and on time, while providing excellent service to our customers.

• Carry out a maximum of 8 deliveries and collections a day using a Class 2 vehicle
• Deliveries will be in and around London so good knowledge is preferred
