Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is seeking Class 1 HGV/LGV (C+E) drivers for our distribution centre in Cumbernauld. The role transports stock between the Cumbernauld and Warrington warehouses, with part-time or full-time hours and weekend shifts available.

We offer a permanent full-time position with an hourly rate of 18.22 and overtime options. Benefits include 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, and a comprehensive staff package.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
• Digital tachograph & CPC card.
• No greater than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery drops to shops.
• Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.
• Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.

Job description

Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Trunking Driver

• Hours: 24-36 hoursfor Part time and 45 hours for full time.
• Pay: £18.22per hour.

We are looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, Blairlinn
This role will be transporting stock between our Cumbernauld warehouse to our Warrington warehouse.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includesat least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Shift patterns available:

• PART TIME - Working 2 or 3 days per week. 12 hour shifts starting anywhere between 14:00 - 18:00.
• FULL TIME - Woking on a 4on4off basis, with starting times anywhere between 14:00 - 18:00.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.
