Job description

We are looking to recruit Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Monkspath, Solihull.

We are seeking drivers with at least 6 months of experience working as a Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) driver.

We offer a permanent full-time early shift position on a 4 on, 2 off basis, starting between 01:00 and 06:00.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

Hourly pay rate of £17.51 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Overtime opportunities are regularly available for additional earnings.

As a driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering goods to shops
• Unloading palletised goods using a Powered Pallet Truck or Manual Pump Truck
• Collecting waste and other items from shops to return to the depot
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Driving safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
• Digital tachograph and CPC card
• No more than 6 points on driving licence, with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements
• A friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude
