Job description

We are looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington.

We offer a permanent full-time position working on a 5 on 3 off basis. This position will include weekend work.

You will be guaranteed 45 hours of work a week.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £17.51, and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. Overtime is regularly available for those looking to earn more.

The majority of shifts start early in the morning and end early to late afternoon.

As a driver, your responsibilities include:

• Completing delivery drops to shops
• Unloading palletised goods using a powered pallet truck and tail lift
• Collecting waste and items from shops to return to the depot
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Driving safely and efficiently
