Job summary

Calor Gas Ltd. is seeking a motivated CAT C Driver for our Carlisle Cylinder Distribution Centre. You will deliver cylinders to customers, ensuring safety, on-time arrivals and compliant with tachograph regulations.

The role offers a strong focus on service to off-grid customers and opportunities for training and career progression. The ideal candidate holds a CAT C licence, with ADR training desirable and a flexible approach to hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CAT C licence.
• A current ADR Vocational Training Certificate desirable.
• ADR requirement is Class 2 in Tanks/Packaged Goods (DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL).
• You should be conversant with tachographs and driver hours legislation.
• Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness.
• Customer-focused with flexible hours, ready to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver essential services to customers and support energy supply.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and to customers, including off-grid sites.
• Adhere to safety policies and Calor's LGV driver’s manual and tachograph regulations.

CAT C Driver

Location: Carlisle Cylinder Distribution Centre

Salary: £37,852 per annum plus 6 monthly driver bonus, maximum up to £1000.

Overtime: £25.68 per hour.

Calor are looking to recruit an engaging, customer focused Cylinder Class 2 ADR Driver for our Carlisle Cylinder Distribution Centre.

You will be delivering an essential service to our customer’s and making a real difference in their energy supply.

Every delivery you make has an impact, to our customers who are often “off-grid” and really rely on us delivering to them time and time again. As a driver, you'll be the hero of the road, ensuring that you arrive safely and on time, making a difference in the communities we serve.

To hit the road with us, here's what you'll need:

• Must hold a current (CAT C) licence.
• A current ADR Vocational Training Certificate desirable
• ADR requirement is Class 2 in Tanks/Packaged Goods (DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
• You should be fully conversant with tachographs and driver hour's legislation, in addition to the details contained within Calor's LGV driver’s manual.
