Job summary

Calor Gas Ltd Ivybridge, Devon is recruiting a Cylinder Class 2 ADR Driver to join our Cylinder Distribution Centre team. You will deliver an essential service to customers, often off-grid, and be the hero of the road by arriving safely and on time.

Requirements include a valid CAT C licence, an ADR Certificate (Class 2 in Tanks/Packaged Goods), familiarity with tachographs and driver hours legislation, and a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CAT C licence.
• A current ADR Vocational Training Certificate.
• Minimum ADR requirement is Class 2 in Tanks/Packaged Goods.
• You should be fully conversant with tachographs and driver hour's legislation, in addition to the details contained within Calor's LGV driver’s manual.
• You will need to always demonstrate a high level of safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cylinders to customers at Ivybridge and surrounding area.
• Ensure deliveries are made on time and with safe handling of cargo.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic safety practices and report any issues promptly.
