Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 and 7.5T Drivers for a leading commercial vehicle rental client based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers seeking flexible weekday work, delivering and collecting commercial vehicles across the South Coast with excellent customer service.

Role involves Monday to Friday AD HOC driving, 07:30 starts (about 10 hours per day), delivering and collecting vans, 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles, and occasional yard shunting while

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence, held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Own transport required for commuting to and from the site.
• Experience using POD Systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting vans, 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles.
• Providing a professional service to commercial customers.
• Carrying out vehicle shunting duties within the yard when required.
• Start times from 07:30am with an average working day around 10 hours.
• Perform ad hoc driving work Monday to Friday.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for flexible weekday work. You will be responsible for the safe and professional delivery and collection of commercial vehicles to customers throughout the South Coast, ensuring excellent customer service at every stage.
