Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking a CAT A Licensed Aircraft Engineer for a permanent role at Farnborough Airport. You will join a line maintenance team, carrying out CAT A maintenance and providing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support across the UK.

Applicants should hold UK CAA CAT A licence, have line maintenance experience, and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. A UK driving licence and travel availability are required; business aviation experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• UK CAA CAT A Licence required.
• Line maintenance and AOG experience preferred.
• Business aviation experience desirable.
• Experience on Cessna Citation, Embraer, HondaJet or Bombardier aircraft advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently within licence and authorisations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Business jet experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance tasks within CAT A licence and company authorisations.
• Provide AOG and line maintenance support to customers.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections and defect rectification.
• Carry out servicing and routine maintenance activities.
• Support aircraft turnarounds and ensure safe return to service.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately.
• Work with manufacturer instructions and applicable regulations.
• Liaise with customers, flight crews, maintenance control and other teams.
• Maintain safety, quality and customer service focus.
• Travel as required for AOG and mobile maintenance activities.
