TÜV Rheinland Solutions is recruiting a CAT 3 Inspection Engineer to cover the Northeast of the UK. The role focuses on inspecting pressurised static equipment such as vessels, tanks, and piping to meet regulatory and client requirements.

The suitable candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering background, 5+ years in a relevant discipline, and familiarity with NDT techniques. UKAS category 3 accreditation experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Trained/qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, engineering Technician status desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in a relevant discipline (mechanical technician).
• Mechanical engineering background.
• Experience in Chemical and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Understanding of engineering principles.
• Good interpersonal skills; capable of working independently.
• Appreciation of pressure equipment and NDT techniques.

Responsabilités

• Inspect pressurised static equipment (vessels, tanks, piping, relief devices) to meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Apply UKAS category 3 standards in inspections and reporting.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to ensure compliance and safety.
• Contribute to continuous training and development in inspection techniques.
