Your new job working as a Casualty Technical Lead/Senior Technician will be working for an established Global Lloyd's Brokers who employ over 700 employees around the world and have a global footprint across more than 150 countries. Due to expansion within the Casualty team, a permanent role for an international Casualty Technical Lead/Senior Broker Backup Technician has arisen.
Your new role
Your new role as a Casualty Technical Lead/Senior Broker Backup Technician involves providing a thorough technical service for the International Casualty Broking Team. You will ensure policies are accurately produced in the form of MRC slips and endorsements, working closely with brokers. Other duties include understanding and improving internal processes, working on complex accounts, producing policy documentation, and handling new business slips, especially primary, lead umbrella, and excess. You will also act as a point of contact for broker assistants regarding policy documentation, collaborate with claims to produce best-in-class wordings/products, monitor files for audit readiness, and keep slip templates and wording libraries up to date.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as a Casualty Broker Backup Technician or Casualty Account Manager handling international or US casualty business is essential. You should be efficient, ensuring documentation is accurate and completed promptly. A commitment to offering best-in-class solutions, high attention to detail, and a strong understanding of legal liability, coverage for casualty risks, slips, and Lloyd’s and company market requirements is necessary. Ambition to grow within an expanding division, good teamwork skills, the ability to deliver high-quality products, and longevity in previous roles are also important.
What you'll get in return
