Job summary

Raretec is exclusively representing a Casualty Pricing Actuary role in London with OAK Global, a Lloyd's partner. Reporting to a Senior Actuary, you will support pricing, underwriting, capital and strategy, while helping develop our OCEAN pricing platform and related tooling.

You will gain exposure to real commercial decisions and receive strong support for exams and career development, with opportunities to influence models, documentation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years actuarial experience.
• Strong pricing experience; Casualty pricing preferred.
• Reinsurance pricing experience desired but not essential.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Interest in technology, modelling and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Price individual risks with underwriters across multiple classes.
• Apply pricing tools and methodologies with guidance.
• Document pricing assumptions and outcomes for auditability.
• Train colleagues in pricing tools and models.
• Maintain and improve class pricing models.
• Contribute market and portfolio insights to planning.
• Support capital model inputs and scenario analysis.
