Casualty (EL/PL) Fraud Litigator - Remote

EL/PL - Fraud - Solicitor/Legal Executive/Experienced File Handler

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Casualty Fraud File Handler to manage a caseload of suspected fraudulent Employer Liability and Public Liability cases for a range of leading insurance clients.

Location - Remote

Salary - Up to £50,000

Previous Experience - Managing a caseload of EL/PL injury matters

Most cases are Fast-Track, with potential exposure to Multi-Track/Intermediate Track matters up to £100K, generally managed on a non-delegated authority basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing primary and secondary liability in EL/PL claims.
  • Managing cases in line with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conducting thorough evidence reviews, including witness statements, medical records, and property inspections.
  • Handling disclosure, investigations, and procedural applications.
  • Liaising with Counsel and experts, including drafting questions for medical professionals.
  • Preparing legal documents such as costs schedules, counter schedules, and trial bundles.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience managing EL/PL caseloads and litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in client care and adherence to guidelines for non-delegated authority cases.
  • Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
