Qualifications

Are you a Claims Handler with experience or knowledge in Casualty Claims? Are you passionate about delivering excellent service in a global, supportive, and high-performing environment?

Our client, a leading multinational insurance company operating in over 50 countries, is looking for a Claims Handler to join their Glasgow-based team. What You'll Do
  1. Manage a caseload of up to 350 claims, including:
  2. Employer’s Liability
  3. Product Liability
  4. A small volume of motor claims
  5. Assess liability and claim value (quantum) up to £25,000
  6. Negotiate settlements with policyholders and brokers
  7. Provide a professional, customer-focused claims service
  8. Attend review meetings and collaborate with internal teams
  9. Identify complaints and handle them effectively or escalate as needed
  10. Support internal processes such as audits and account reviews
What We’re Looking For
  1. Previous experience handling insurance claims (casualty experience is a plus)
  2. Background in financial services or insurance is preferred
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Strong customer service mindset
  5. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems
  6. Experience in a commercial insurance claims environment is advantageous
