Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an individual with strong London Market knowledge and Lloyd’s market systems expertise.

If you are interested in a role where you can develop both breadth and depth of technical insurance wordings along with your London Market Insurance knowledge, across various business situations, then this could be the perfect role for you.

A Professional Casualty Adjuster works under the supervision of a Team Manager, performing technical checks and processing a variety of insurance documentation for different customers and classes of business.

All work must meet the agreed service levels concerning quality and turnaround times.

Training will be provided for all insurance documentation and systems required to perform the role.

We're looking for candidates who have:
  • Strong numeracy, verbal, and literacy skills
  • The ability to manage and adjust inward claims within claims handling/settlement authority, following claims handling procedures
  • Capability to report claims according to reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, personal, and time management skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • A positive attitude and curiosity to identify improvements
  • A good understanding of insurance wordings
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of insurance
  • Previous experience handling liability claims (UK & US liability), including Employers Liability, Public Liability/General Liability, Products Liability
  • Experience working closely with customers, brokers, and underwriters
  • Experience with London Market claims, Reinsurance claims, and/or international claims is beneficial but not mandatory
