Job summary

Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust is seeking casual staff to deliver education, wellbeing and physical activity sessions to groups of young people across local schools and settings. Sessions run weekly during school hours with travel between sites.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children/young people, school or youth settings experience, strong maths and literacy skills, and excellent communication. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and/or young people.
• Experience of working in schools or youth settings.
• Positive attitude and innovative personality.
• Good maths and literacy skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• To deliver high quality education, wellbeing and physical activity sessions on a weekly basis to small groups of young people aged 11-16.
• Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and reporting any safeguarding disclosures of our Community Project Manager (Young people)
• Deliver engaging and enjoyable sessions that young people can gain positive outcomes from
• Build good rapport with young people and be a trusted adult.
• Be a good team player and work effectively with colleagues.
• To undertake an enhanced DBS check, complete safeguarding training and other relevant training.
