RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve all customers in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner at all times.
Ensure guests receive the highest standard of customer service at all times.
Advise guests on all products available within the venue.
Promote a happy and welcoming atmosphere within the venue.
Work both alone and as part of a team, ensuring all guests' needs are met to the highest standards.
Maintain stock levels and rotation within work and storage areas to avoid waste and assist with stocktaking.
Ensure the work area is adequately stocked with glassware, ice, condiments, and other sundries according to stock levels and business needs.
Lay up and prepare restaurants/boxes for serving meals, tea, coffee, and light refreshments.
Serve guests efficiently with food and beverage knowledge, and carry out necessary duties as directed by your manager.
Serve wine and other drinks from the bar as directed by management.
Keep work and public areas clean and tidy before, during, and after opening hours, paying attention to Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines.
Ensure all orders are correctly dispensed, recorded, and authorized for billing.
Ring through orders and obtain payment in line with Racecourse procedures.
Close tills according to company procedures.
Keep temperature records and other paperwork accurately.
Follow all licensing policies and procedures.
Handle cash, stock, and equipment securely.
Act as an information point for customers.
Record wastage and dispose of rubbish according to venue procedures and recycling initiatives.
Adhere to company policies and undertake other duties as required by business demands.

Strong interpersonal skills—friendly, confident, outgoing.

Work with honesty and integrity.
Experience in hospitality is preferred but not essential.
