We are currently recruiting for various casual Food and Beverage roles at Chilston Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels. These include Waiter/Waitress and Bar Assistant positions, supporting busy periods including weekends.

Chilston Park Hotel, located in rural Kent, is a classic British country house hotel set within 77 acres of parkland. It is a popular wedding venue with an award-winning two AA Rosette restaurant, ideal for countryside breaks, romantic weddings, or meetings near London.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare food and beverage service areas to hotel standards, maintaining high presentation quality.
2. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and preparation styles.
3. Provide accurate product descriptions and recommendations based on guest preferences.
4. Work enthusiastically with team members to achieve departmental goals.
5. Maintain basic knowledge of the wine list and stock availability.
6. Understand principles of food and wine matching, grape varieties, and flavors.
7. Be inspired, have fun, and enjoy being part of the Hand Picked team.

About You

1. Experience in food and beverage service within quality hotels, restaurants, or hospitality environments.
2. Bar experience for Bar Assistant role; must be over 18 to serve alcohol.
3. Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities.
4. Flexible approach to assist in various hotel areas as needed.
5. High emotional intelligence to anticipate guest needs and deliver a magical experience.
6. Ability to meet guest experience standards, providing personalized and memorable service.
