WWT Martin Mere

We are looking for 3 Casual Visitor Engagement Assistants to join the team at WWT Martin Mere.

This role will provide our visitors with immersive and engaging experiences at Martin Mere during the school holidays as part of our Dragonfly Festival which runs between23 July and running until 31 August.

Activities will include undertaking craft workshops with families, story time sessions, performing a dragonfly show and running a competition. You willinteract with our visitors and supporters in a positive way, shaping unforgettable experiences and helping them understand and connect to wetlands.

This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad hoc basis. Candidates will need to be willing to work some weekends, bank holidays and during the school holidays.

About You

The successful candidates will have experience of working with people of all ages and abilities in a customer facing role. It would be an advantage to have experience working in education or performing arts. Excellent communication skills with the ability to be creative and use your own initiative are essential to the role.

Full training will be provided for this role.
