Job summary

The Football Association is recruiting experienced Coach Developers to shape the next generation of football fitness coaches. You will deliver a UEFA B Fitness Diploma through engaging multi-modal sessions, helping coaches transfer knowledge to their contexts and develop practical football-specific fitness in the modern game.

Qualifications

• Sport Science or Strength & Conditioning degree.
• 7+ years' experience in the professional game.
• Experience of delivering to adults in an education setting.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Experience and knowledge of creating an inclusive delivery environment.
• Relevant knowledge across the coach development framework.
• Experience of responding to the developmental needs of individual coaches.
• Competent use of learning technology.
• FA Level 2 in Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF)
• FA Safeguarding Children and FA DBS.

Responsibilities

• Link online learning with face-to-face components to deliver an effective learning environment.
• Apply FA Learning principles to activity design and delivery with effective feedback.
• Contextualise coach requirements within learners' settings using inquiry-based approaches.
• Deliver practical sessions that align with technical and tactical concepts.
• Observe and provide feedback to support individual coach development.
• Build rapport and a safe learning environment for learners.
