Job summary

Calderdale Norse Ltd is recruiting casual swimming teachers to support the delivery of our swimming lessons in Halifax. You will teach swimming and related aquatic activities to children and adults, and may work with school groups or private sessions.

We are looking for candidates with a Level 2 Swim England teaching qualification or equivalent, who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team, with flexibility to meet service needs.

Job description

To continue the growth of this service, the Swimming Development Team are looking to recruit a team of casual swimming teachers to support with the delivery of our swimming lessons. The role will be to teach swimming and other related aquatic activities to children and adults. Swimming may be taught to school groups or private out of school swimming lessons or both.

Ensure the smooth, safe operation of the Swimming Development Scheme and to provide high quality customer care.

The ideal candidate will have a level 2 Swim England swimming teachers' qualification or equivalent, be able to work on own initiative and within a team. Be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
