Job summary

Connect2Halton is seeking enthusiastic Swimming Instructors to deliver high-quality lessons along the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway. You will guide learners from water confidence to first lengths and help them progress with structured, safety-focused coaching.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification (or equivalent).
• NRASTC or NPLQ.
• Strong communication and motivational skills.
• A calm, patient approach and the ability to adapt to different learners.
• Someone who can keep cool under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Leading engaging, safe, and structured lessons for all ages
• Using your knowledge of Swim England's framework to guide learners
• Supervising participants and ensuring poolside safety at all times
• Encouraging progress, celebrating achievements, and handing out badges
• Setting up and tidying away poolside equipment - because nobody likes floating noodles in the deep end
