As a Casual Support Worker, you will be working with the people we support in our Learning Disability, Mental Health and/or Supported Living services to develop their independence and support them live the way that they choose.
As a member of our support team, you will be assisting people we support with their day-to-day activities such as personal care, cooking, housework, going to the shops or attending any activities they may be interested in. You will work with these individuals to encourage independence, choice and involvement in their own lives, and to promote their active participation in their chosen community.
Our supported living service in Bath is a learning disabilities service and is located in the city centre. We currently support 7 people that live there. There is no moving and handling involved but there will be regular use of stairs as part of the role.
