Job summary

Rotherwood in Burnley and surrounding areas is seeking Casual Support Workers to join our agency team. You will provide high-quality support across a range of services, including residential children's homes, domestic abuse services, and supported living, with flexible shifts to fit around your commitments.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a flexible, reliable approach. DBS checks are preferred or will be arranged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Residential Support Worker, or similar role.

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for flexible work with a variety of services and shift patterns?

We are currently recruiting Casual Support Workers to join our agency team, supporting a range of services across Burnley and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety in their work and are looking for shifts that fit around their existing commitments.

No two days are the same. You could be supporting young people in a residential children's home one shift and working within a domestic abuse, homelessness, or supported living service the next.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality support to vulnerable children, young people, and adults.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Residential Support Worker, or similar role.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one prior to placement.
• Availability to work a mixture of day shifts, waking nights, sleep-ins, and weekends is desirable.
