Job summary

Lindt UK is recruiting for a Customer Service role at the Bicester Village Store on a 0 hours casual contract. You will be part of the Lindt brand ambassadors, delivering outstanding service, handling till transactions, upselling, and contributing to store targets.

Join a dynamic team focused on customer delight, product sampling, and loyalty program initiatives while maintaining health and safety standards in a premium retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a retail organisation is preferable.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Support store management in achieving the retail plan.
• Deliver Lindt Service and exceed customer expectations daily.
• Build customer relationships and upsell products.
• Process transactions accurately at the till.
• Maintain clean, presentable, and shoppable store layout.
• Assist with deliveries, stock replenishment, and inventory.
• Promote the Loyalty program and sampling of products.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service Role

• Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets
• Be committed to working hours/working pattern
• Provide excellent standard of customer service
• When in work always have a can-do attitude
• Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team
• Greet customers
• Accurately processing transactions through the till
• Upsell and add on items as well as offering alternatives
• Effectively manage queues
• Support team with the Sampling of products and introducing customers to our Loyalty program
• Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures, and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all

Delivery / Stock / replenishment Role

• Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets
• Be committed to working hours/working pattern
• When in work always have a can-do attitude
• Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team
• Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all
• Processing deliveries efficiently
• Keep stockroom organized and rotated
• Keeping shop floor fixtures full
• Clear communication to management regarding low levels / sell outs

VM / Gift Specialist Role

• Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets
• Be committed to working hours/working pattern
• When in work always have a can-do attitude
• Reactive positively to change in pace
• Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team
• Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures, and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all
• Support team in ensuring store always looks presentable and shoppable
• Build gifting to company guidelines
• Monitor Gifting levels, best sellers and react appropriately

What experience you’ll bring

• Proven experience within a retail organisation is preferable, as is a genuine love of all that a career in retail has to offer
• A highly motivated self-starter, with a drive for results
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships internally and externally
• An infectious can do attitude – ready to try new things and enthuse everyone you meet
