• Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the perfect games and gaming accessories
• Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain an organised and tidy store environment
• Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
• Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming releases, trends, and promotions
• Contribute to creating an engaging and interactive shopping experience for customers
• Participate in special events and midnight game launches as required
• Work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings and weekends

This role has no guaranteed hours of work, hours of work can therefore vary from week to week and, as a result, there may be weeks when no hours of work are offered.

• Genuine enthusiasm for video games and the gaming industry
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Cash handling experience and basic maths skills
• Knowledge of current gaming trends and popular titles
• Previous retail experience, particularly in the gaming industry, is desirable but not essential
