Casual Retail Team Member - Southfields

Location: Southfields

Hours: Covering Sunday Evenings Until 8pm

Pay rate: £13.85 Per Hour (including paid breaks)

There’s more to COOK than food: our shops actively serve their communities, thanks to the warmth, knowledge, and care of our Retail Team. We’re looking for remarkable people to join us, hosting customers in the shop as if they were at home.

The Role

1. Provide exceptional service, prioritizing the customer above all else.

2. Use your knowledge to help customers plan menus or advise on catering for occasions. Promote upcoming offers, products, and promotions.

3. Maintain shop cleanliness and organization, ensuring stock is replenished and rotated, and freezers are full.

4. Operate the till efficiently and accurately.

5. Understand shop paperwork, legal checks, and their purposes.

6. Open and close the shop, including cashing up.

7. Check deliveries, assist with stock taking, and place orders as needed.

8. Wear a clean apron and name badge at all times.

Good to Have

Interest in food is a plus, but we will train you on our products, their origins, and suitable dishes for various occasions. Experience is not necessary; prior retail or customer-facing experience is a bonus.
