Supervise the work of all retail staff to maintain and deliver quality retail services, including work allocation and daily monitoring of retail outlets. Conduct compliance checks with HACCP regulations, temperature probing, and record keeping. Report maintenance defects of catering equipment and ensure all equipment is kept clean and well-maintained.
Team Management and Communication: Build and maintain effective relationships with the retail team and ward staff. Liaise with MFT and Sodexo staff to resolve issues and respond to ad-hoc requirements. Ensure staff are allocated duties appropriately, receive necessary training, and adhere to health and safety policies including PPE and uniform standards. Conduct staff appraisals, manage annual leave requests, and identify training needs.
Operational Responsibilities: Take initial calls related to sickness absence, conduct return-to-work interviews, and manage relevant paperwork. Monitor stock levels, ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, and handle incident or complaint escalation. Provide cover for colleagues as needed and maintain professional image and relationships with clients.
Additional Duties: Maintain personal hygiene standards, arrive punctually in uniform, and assist in other catering areas as required. Complete relevant paperwork and perform additional duties as directed by the line manager.
