About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Casual Retail Assistant is focused on delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key member of the team, contributing to branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Main duties include:

1. Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales where possible.
2. Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
3. Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
4. Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
5. Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
6. Contribute to a positive team environment and work towards personal sales targets.
7. Utilise the E-learning portal to enhance product knowledge and performance.
8. Keep the customer-facing areas of the branch clean and tidy.
9. Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
10. Represent the company professionally, maintaining a good image and adhering to company values.
11. Work towards relevant KPIs.

Working hours: Casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave, including weekends.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
2. Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Positive approach to customer queries and proactive resolution seeking.
5. Confident in IT and computer systems.
6. Ability to work well with others.
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
9. Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
