About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Casual Retail Assistant is essential in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key member of the team, contributing to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click-and-collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Main duties include:

1. Serving trade and retail customers for click-and-collect and general orders while maximizing sales.
2. Picking relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
3. Assisting the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
4. Satisfying customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
5. Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
6. Contributing to a positive team environment and working towards personal sales benchmarks.
7. Utilizing the e-learning portal to develop product knowledge.
8. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the customer-facing areas.
9. Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their garage needs.
10. Representing the company professionally and promoting our values.
11. Working towards achieving relevant KPIs.

Working hours: Casual basis to cover sickness and holiday leave, including weekends.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
2. Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Positive approach to customer queries with proactive resolution seeking.
5. Confident in using IT and computer systems.
6. Ability to work well with others.
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
9. Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
