Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Care / Support worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting one of our clients in the Blackburn area. The role involves supporting our client to lead an individual and independent lifestyle in their own home. Responsibilities include providing clinical care tasks, companionship, and supporting activities in the local community such as walks, visits to cafes, or swimming.

Additional Details

Note: Preferably, you will be a car driver due to the location, but this is not essential. Our client has allergies, so be mindful of animal hair on clothing, especially if you have pets. Perfume or scented body spray is not permitted.

Contracted hours: 0 hours per week

Training

Candidate Requirements

You should be self-motivated, well-organized, reliable, and a team player. We seek Care / Support workers with experience in:

• Positive behaviour management and supporting anxiety
• Personal care (showering, drying, dressing)
• Providing companionship and community activities
• Medication administration

You should also have:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You must be eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
