Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is recruiting a Passenger Assistant to transport pupils to and from schools across the East Riding and Humber region. You will work as part of the Passenger Services Unit, ensuring safe, reliable journeys for children with additional needs and vulnerable passengers.

Hours are early mornings and late afternoons, Monday to Friday, with on-the-job training (PATS) provided. A caring, respectful team player with safeguarding awareness is sought to serve the local

The passenger Services Unit is seeking to recruit a Passenger Assistant to transport passengers to and from various educational establishments across the East Riding of Yorkshire and Humber Region

Passenger Services provides Drivers and Passenger Assistants to transport various types of passengers ( children with challenging behaviour, vulnerable adults, children with additional needs, medical patients ) from home to schools, day centres and other destinations where required.

Hours of work can vary depending on the needs of the service but are generally between 06:00am and 10:30am and 14:00pm and 18:0pm Monday - Friday.
