Job Title: Nursery Chef/Cook

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Nursery Chef/Cook to join Barney Lodge, our wonderful nursery school in Warminster. The successful candidate will prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children, including those with specific dietary needs.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards, and Ofsted guidelines, instilling Storal values around food and hygiene.
3. Maintain a safe environment and provide rich, stimulating experiences for children.
4. Manage stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
5. Follow relevant guidelines for COSHH and other safety protocols.
6. Deputise for the Cook during absences, with the expectation of full-time deputising when required.

About You:

• Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.
• Ability to reflect Storal values of responsibility, openness, and teamwork.
