About The Role

NOW RECRUITING FOR THE NEW SEASON - AUGUST 2025!

At Liverpool Football Club, we value experience, dedication, and a commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for our supporters. We're looking for Casual Match Day Stewards to join our team and help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all spectators.

What will you be doing in the role?
  1. Working as part of a team to provide a safe and secure environment for match day events.
  2. Ensuring compliance with stadium regulations, keeping spectators safe and informed.
  3. Responding effectively to any incidents of disorder with a calm and focused approach.
  4. Offering support and guidance to spectators when needed, ensuring they feel welcome and informed.
  5. Conducting personal searches of spectators entering the stadium to maintain security.
  6. Documenting and reporting incidents, ensuring clear and accurate records are kept.
We Are Looking For People Who
  1. Have strong communication skills and can confidently engage with supporters, even in challenging situations.
  2. Can handle conflict calmly and professionally.
  3. Can write clear reports and possess a basic understanding of conflict management.
  4. Are over 18, due to the nature of the role.

Note: This role requires the completion of a Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety (as per the Sports Grounds Safety Authority), which must be completed within 12 months from your first induction training. By applying, you confirm your ability to complete this qualification within the specified timeframe. Failure to do so may affect your application process.

This is a casual position, offering variable hours including evenings and weekends on a flexible basis.
