Salary: Grade 6 £14.84 per hour Grade 7 £16.37 per hour plus 12.07% in lieu of annual leave

Location: Scunthorpe and surrounding areas

Hours: Casual

DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

The Vacancy

NL Active is seeking Level 2 Award and Certificate swimming coaches to deliver Swimlincs lessons to children and adults in the Leisure Centres across North Lincolnshire. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team, and are passionate and inspiring in delivering our swimming programme.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching swimming to children and adults of all ages and abilities
  • Keeping records of learners' achievements using a handheld device
  • Maintaining a safe environment at all times and complying with Health & Safety guidelines

Hours: Various hours are available from daytime, evening and Saturday mornings.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must hold an STA Level 2 Award or Certificate in Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent. Pay will be based on the level of qualification.
