Hand Picked Hotels’ Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath is seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter. You’ll help run the kitchen by keeping areas spotless, washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and supporting the back-of-house team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you may assist with basic food preparation, manage waste, and help with stock deliveries. This casual role offers hours that vary with business and a starting pay of £13 per hour plus

What will the role involve?

The role of Kitchen Porter at Bailbrook House Hotel is essential in supporting the delivery of an exceptional dining experience by ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen brigade, the Kitchen Porter plays a key role in maintaining a smooth day-to-day kitchen operation.As Kitchen Porter, your responsibilities will centre around maintaining immaculate hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, cleaning of equipment, and ensuring all back-of-house areas are organised and well-presented. You will support chefs by ensuring that equipment, utensils, and service items are clean, available, and ready for use at all times.The role also involves assisting with basic food preparation when required, monitoring waste disposal, adhering to strict health and safety and food hygiene regulations, and supporting stock organisation and deliveries. You will contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen, helping the team deliver a seamless service while upholding the hotel’s standards of excellence in luxury hospitality.

This is a casual role where hours may vary depending on business.
