Job summary

Everton in the Community, the charitable arm of Everton Football Club, is seeking Casual Kicks Coaches to plan, implement and deliver a programme across Kicks and Youth zone sites. You will focus on sport and football delivery, while providing youth support and intervention work as needed.

Successful candidates will have Level 2 FA Football Award or Level 2 Youth Work qualification and be first aid trained.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supporting young people within a sports environment to deliver workshops and targeted interventions.
• Holds Level 2 FA Football Award or Level 2 Youth Work qualification and first aid training.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and deliver a programme of support across Kicks and Youth zone sites, delivering high-quality sessions.
• Deliver sport/football activities while providing youth and targeted support as needed.

About the opportunity:

Everton in the Community are currently looking for Casual Kicks Coaches to join the team.

Our pool of Casual Kicks Coaches will be responsible in working alongside the Youth Inclusion programme and programme coordinators to plan, implement and deliver a programme of support across our Kicks and Youth zone sites, that is of the highest standard and meets the needs of our programme participants.

The role will focus on delivery across sport and football but will also include some youth and targeted support work to identified individuals and groups.

Safeguarding

• To understand the Club’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines.

• To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.

Who we are looking for:

Essentially, we are looking forindividuals who have proven experience in supporting young people within a sports environment to deliver workshops and targeted interventions.

Our successful post holders will hold a Level 2 FA Football Award qualification and; or a Level 2 Youth Work qualification and be first aid trained.

You will have the ability to gain the trust of young people in order to inspire and motivate them to make right choices.

This is a casual opportunity; it is therefore essential that if successful you have a flexible approach to working unsociable casual hours (evenings and weekends) as required.
