We are a thriving short-term rental business in Christchurch, dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team, ensuring our properties are guest-ready and maintained to the highest standards.
The Role:
As a Casual Cleaner, you will focus on preparing our short-term rental properties for guests. This is a weekend role so you will need to be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays. You’ll work independently, ensuring each property is spotless and welcoming. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interact professionally with guests if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough cleaning of short-term rental properties to a guest-ready standard, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Ensure attention to detail in all tasks, maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Restock supplies and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Occasionally interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing basic inquiries if required.
• Work independently, managing time effectively to meet tight turnaround schedules.
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering a pristine environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor, comfortable engaging with guests when necessary.
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not essential; training provided.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Must be available to work weekend, especially Sundays; busy holiday weekends and school holidays. additional shifts may be available.
