Role Title: Casual Hours Driver

Location: Yale

Contract Type: Hourly Paid, Casual Work

Salary: £12.14 per hour

Coleg Cambria is seeking Casual Hours Mini Bus Drivers to join their Estates and Facilities team from September 2024. As a Casual Hours Minibus Driver, you will operate college vehicles to transport staff, students, and others as needed. The role involves trips throughout the week, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. You may also be tasked with collecting, transporting, and delivering items using the college van or electric mail van, ensuring safety and damage prevention. Responsibilities include conducting vehicle checks, ensuring passenger safety, and complying with college policies and road safety regulations.

Essential Requirements

  • A full, clean UK driving licence with D1 category
  • Desirable: D1+E drivers licence
  • Proven experience in driving mini buses (MIDAS training will be provided)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently
  • Basic IT skills and willingness to learn for communication, claims, and online training

Additional Information

  • Welsh language skills are desirable
