Job summary

B Braun Avitum UK is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team on a casual basis. Flexible shifts available to fit around your schedule.

You will help keep the unit running smoothly by managing stock and supplies, supporting housekeeping tasks, and preparing the clinical area for patients attending their dialysis treatment. The role covers multiple dialysis units across Cardiff North; Cardiff South; Llantrisant; Pontypool and Newport.

Responsibilities

• Provide general assistance to nursing staff with patient care in the treatment room.
• Liaise with transport and other departments in order to arrange appointments.
• Support the unit routine, by escorting patients to the wards, blood specimens and pharmacy errands.
• Monitor and record patients weights pre and post dialysis.
• Prepare and serve patients with refreshments.
• Preparation of the clinical area.
• Maintain stocks and supplies within the treatment areas.
• Undertake housekeeping duties.

BBraun Avitum UK operate 5 dialysis units in South EastWales (Cardiff North, Cardiff South, Newport, Llantrisant, Pontypool)rangingfrom a 32 station unit at Cardiff North to a smaller unit of 18 stations inPontypool. The role will include work all other centres as per the need of theservice.

Workinghours

Long Day = 06:45 - 18:15. Monday to Saturday. NoSunday or night shifts!

Main duties of the job
