Job summary

Derby City Council is seeking enthusiastic casual Group Exercise Instructors to deliver our group exercise program across Derby Arena and Springwood Leisure Centre.

The role involves instructing music-based classes, demonstrating techniques, adapting to all ages and abilities, and ensuring safe, enjoyable sessions with flexible, zero-hours contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering group exercise classes.
• Exercise To Music qualification.
• Les Mills qualification and Indoor Cycle experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct groups of members and deliver exercise classes to music.
• Demonstrate techniques and form, and explain corrective measures.
• Deliver safe and effective programmes with progressions and adaptations.
