Job summary

Everton Women are seeking a Casual Group Coach to join the Emerging Talent Centre. You will support and develop players within the group to reach high performance in a safe and supportive environment, delivering sessions in line with the ETC curriculum and FA licence requirements.

You will foster a positive culture, create an engaging ETC environment where players learn and enjoy football, and ensure coaching programmes meet club standards and FA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young footballers within a football environment.
• Good understanding of the modern young player in terms of their physical and psychological development.
• FA Level 2/UEFA C Licence or above coaching qualification.
• FA Safeguarding Children.
• FA Level 1 Introduction into First Aid in Football (IFAIF) or FA Emergency First Aid.
• Ability to provide evidence of the required qualifications if shortlisted.
• Enhanced or Basic DBS check or DBS Update Service evidence.
• Evidence and verification of qualifications including work eligibility in the UK.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.

About the Role

A new opportunity exists for a Casual Group Coach to join Everton Women's Football Emerging Talent Centre (ETC). The role is responsible for supporting and developing all players within the group to attain the highest levels of performance possible in a safe, secure and supportive environment. The Group Coach will drive and nurture a positive culture within the training group and deliver football coaching sessions in line with the ETC curriculum and blueprint. The role also involves delivering a coaching programme that adheres to and exceeds all club standards and FA ETC licence requirements.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Experience working with young footballers within a football environment.
• Good understanding of the modern young player in terms of their physical and psychological development.
• The FA Level 2/UEFA C Licence or above coaching qualification.
• FA Safeguarding Children.
• FA Level 1 Introduction into First Aid in Football (IFAIF) or FA Emergency First Aid.
• Ability to provide evidence of the required qualifications if successfully shortlisted for interview.
• Enhanced or Basic DBS check or evidence of subscription to the DBS Update Service.
• Evidence and verification of relevant qualifications, including proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
