Elior Healthcare Elm Lodge is seeking a catering assistant to join our team. You will ensure up-to-date knowledge of the menu and offers, keep the kitchen area clean and stocked, and support Chefs with high standards and occasional simple food prep. You’ll operate the till when required and follow COSHH, food safety, and health & safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Keep up-to-date knowledge of the menu and offers to provide accurate information to customers.
• Maintain a clean, well-presented and well-stocked kitchen area.
• Support the Chefs, maintaining high standards with ad hoc duties in simple food preparation.
• Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Operate the till point as required, following correct procedures.
• Adhere to COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations and report any incidents.

• Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
• Ensure the kitchen area is always clean, well presented and well-stocked
• Support the Chef(s), making sure the kitchen environment is to high standards with ad hoc duties in simple food prep from time to time
• Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
• Operate the till point as required, ensuring correct procedures are used
• Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
  Excellent communication skills and a team player
