Job summary

Caterplus, part of Elior UK, is hiring a Casual General Assistant in the Eastry Place area. The role spans general site support, cleaning, stock handling and customer service, with emphasis on safety, reliability and a proactive attitude.

You’ll work across operations, assist colleagues, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety policies, bringing flexible coverage and a positive approach to the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general cleaning, maintenance and tidying of the work environment.
• Support team members with various duties as required.
• Help with the receipt, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Operate basic machinery or tools safely under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or visitors.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
• Show good communication and teamwork skills.
• Follow instructions and work independently when needed.
• Maintain basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
