Job summary

Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa in Longfield, Kent, part of Hand Picked Hotels, is seeking an enthusiastic Fitness Instructor. You’ll deliver Welcome to Wellness gym inductions, support member wellness days, run engaging group fitness classes, and provide personalised training to guests and members.

Working with a passionate team, you’ll help guests stay active, maintain high standards of service, and create memorable wellbeing experiences.

Qualifications

• Qualified Fitness Professional with UK fitness qualifications (NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 PT).
• Passionate about health and wellbeing with ability to motivate members.

What will the role involve?

As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional health and wellbeing experiences for our guests and members. Your responsibilities will be varied and rewarding, including leading Welcome to Wellness gym inductions, supporting member wellness days, delivering engaging group fitness classes, and providing personal training sessions tailored to individual goals. Working as part of a passionate team, you will help drive success by consistently delivering outstanding customer service and placing the guest at the heart of everything you do. You will inspire and motivate others through high-quality training sessions, bringing enthusiasm and positivity to support their health and fitness journeys. With a strong focus on mindfulness and wellbeing, you will be committed to maintaining the highest standards and creating memorable experiences that leave every guest feeling refreshed, energised, and empowered. Above all, you will be enthusiastic, team-oriented, and ready to enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

This is a casual contract and will require working a variety of shifts including weekends which may vary depending on business.

Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.

• Qualified Fitness Professional with current UK fitness qualifications, including NVQ Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer certifications.
• Passionate about health and wellbeing, with the ability to motivate, inspire and support members in achieving their individual fitness goals.
• Confident and knowledgeable in providing expert fitness advice, tailoring guidance and training programmes to suit a range of abilities and aspirations.
• Customer-focused, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Positive, enthusiastic and approachable, able to build strong relationships with members and colleagues alike.
• A proactive team player who is committed to maintaining high standards and contributing to a successful and supportive fitness team.
• Pool Responder and Pool Plant Room trained would be advantageous, although not essential.
