Job summary

A unique hotel in a multi-purpose venue is seeking a Casual F&B Assistant to assist with Dinner Service. You will work across all areas of Food & Beverage, providing high levels of customer service while handling orders and managing guest queries. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and good communication skills. This role requires flexibility for evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

  • Previous Food & Beverage and/or industry experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations.

  • Work in all areas of Food & Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service, and Conference & Events.
  • Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Take and deliver customer orders.

We have an exciting opportunity for somebody to join our Hilton Garden Inn Hotel team as a Casual F&B Assistant to assist with Dinner Service.

The Hilton Garden Inn at Emirates Old Trafford (the Home of Lancashire Cricket) is a unique hotel positioned in a world class thriving multi-purpose venue that hosts a multitude of large-scale and high-profile events, from international cricket to sell-out concerts.

The hotel, with its 250 bedrooms (including 140 pitch-facing rooms), restaurant where breakfast and dinner is served overlooking the pitch and bar is located within the Emirates Old Trafford venue sitting alongside our award-winning conference & events facilities integrating seamlessly with the stadium and all the events that it hosts.

The Role

As our Casual F&B Assistant your responsibilities will include, but by no means be limited to:

  • Able to work in all areas of Food & Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference & Events
  • Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
  • Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Up-sell with latest departmental incentives
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards
  • Strive to achieve departmental targets
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Comply with local licensing laws
  • Be environmentally aware
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
